Coffee Bean Brains

I grind my coffee this morning with one of those ancient hand grinders. It is reassuring to know somethings don't need to be plugged in. I feel like I am putting my brains in there, watching the beans shift around and grow less and less. I try to think. I try to write. I try to blog. None of it works. It all feels like word beans are stuck in that grinder. My thoughts sift down into pieces.

Next Monday (Feb. 11) at 5 p.m., we will have our first Concert Series Live House at GraceJapan. This free event is titled "Mado" meaning "Window." It will be a time to peer into our hearts through the moving rhythms of Gospel, and healing J-pop music. Be revived by Gospel Family AMAZING GRACE!, with over 15 choir members lifting up Gospel harmony. Next, Wings' soothing sounds minister to the soul,

Rags or Riches || Depression or Hope
Imagine a boy in rags, standing in the cold, all alone. He looks at his rags and despises them. He thinks, "I will rip these clothes off and throw them away." He doesn't stop to consider that being naked won't help him from being cold. What he really wants is to be clothed properly. Suicide is a similar situation.

Concert Series 2008
This year, All Nations will be producing a series of concerts in association with GraceJapan. The first concert — approaching rapidly — will be on Monday, February 11th, at 5pm. We will have performances by Wings and Gospel Family AMAZING GRACE. Wings just released a CD/book, "Kimi No Soba Ni" published by BookCom. There will be a small gallery displaying a few select photographs from the book.
